Uber Freight, a dominant force in the logistics industry, has marked an impressive milestone in its European operations. The company recently announced its Managed Transportation business in Europe has seen a staggering 100% year-over-year growth, with over 200 million euros in freight under management (FUM). This remarkable achievement underscores Uber Freight’s expansive reach and its pivotal role in redefining logistics through intelligent technology solutions.

The announcement came from the company’s headquarters in Leusden, Netherlands, highlighting Uber Freight’s ambitious vision to escalate its FUM to €2 billion by 2028. This ambition aligns with the company’s global trajectory, as it now boasts over $18 billion in freight under management worldwide. Uber Freight’s rapid expansion and investment in Europe not only reinforce its position as a leading player in 4PL services but also lay a robust foundation for its future growth and development across the continent.

Europe’s logistics market, poised to hit the 1.17 trillion EUR mark by 2029, is witnessing significant growth and complexity. In this evolving landscape, shippers are increasingly seeking strategic partnerships with providers like Uber Freight that offer a blend of advanced technology, deep domain expertise, and a comprehensive global footprint. These capabilities are essential for enhancing operational efficiency, elevating customer service, and driving sustainable shipping practices to cut carbon emissions.

Lior Ron, Founder and CEO of Uber Freight, emphasized the importance of adapting to the globalized nature of logistics. He noted the company’s commitment to providing a flexible and comprehensive suite of services that evolve with customers’ needs, positioning Uber Freight as the go-to logistics partner in Europe.

Uber Freight’s innovative platform has attracted major European brands, including household goods manufacturer McBride PLC and global chemical producer Kronos Worldwide, Inc. These collaborations spotlight the platform’s ability to streamline complex logistics processes, offering real-time insights, efficiency, and sustainability.

McBride PLC lauds Uber Freight for transforming its logistics operations, enabling the company to manage multi-location deliveries with unprecedented visibility and efficiency. This partnership has facilitated the optimization of transport routes, consolidation of shipments, and timely deliveries, significantly reducing costs and enhancing service quality.

Kronos Worldwide, Inc., has also benefited from its strategic partnership with Uber Freight, particularly in advancing its sustainability goals. Through collaborative initiatives, both companies have embarked on projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions, including improving load factors, converting to more sustainable transport modes, and leveraging advanced fuels.

As Uber Freight continues to expand its footprint in Europe, it remains focused on attracting top talent and developing innovative solutions tailored to the region’s unique needs. The company’s ambitious target of achieving a 2 billion Euro FUM by 2028 reflects its commitment to shaping the future of European logistics through cutting-edge technology, strategic collaboration, and a customer-centric approach.

Uber Freight, with its comprehensive suite of logistics applications, managed services, and extensive carrier network, is not just moving goods but advancing supply chains globally. Its partnerships with leading Fortune 500 companies underscore its market-leading position and its pivotal role in transforming the logistics landscape.
