In an exciting development, Apple has announced that the Vision Pro will feature an impressive lineup of 150 3D movies at launch. This collection includes blockbuster titles like “Avatar: The Way of Water,” “Dune,” “The Super Mario Bros,” and “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” Apple is offering a special perk to its users, allowing them to access 3D versions of eligible movies at no extra cost. Disney+ is also joining in, planning to offer exclusive 3D movies for Vision Pro users, with more Disney+ exclusive titles to be added in the future.

The Vision Pro showcases Apple’s new Immersive Video format, which delivers 3D 180-degree videos in stunning 8K resolution, complemented by Spatial Audio. At launch, Apple has curated a collection of immersive content, including genres like Adventure, Wild Life, and the captivating Prehistoric Planet Immersive series.

For users who love to travel, Apple introduces the Travel Mode feature, designed to stabilize visuals during flights. The headset also includes a ‘Guest Users’ feature, allowing multiple people to share and enjoy specific apps and experiences.

The Vision Pro boasts a high-resolution micro-OLED screen and promises up to 2 hours of battery life on a single charge, extending to 2.5 hours for video playback. An external battery pack can also power the headset, thanks to its USB-C compatibility. Pre-orders for the Apple Vision Pro start on January 19, and the device supports over a million iOS and iPadOS apps, all optimized for an immersive mixed-reality experience.
